The breakfast looked sumptuous, with beautiful view from deck, unfortunately we didn't have time and didn't try it. Location: the hotel was short walk to Mangawhai, estuary and the water front. Restaurant Jessie's Cafe located 1 km away was a nice surprise...

The staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service. The queen room I stayed in was tastefully decorated and neat. The lodge offers lovely views of the sea and a particularly good location, close to the golf club, local sights, attractions, and the beach.

Plus, this hotel is next to Mangawhai Heads or Mangawhai as well as the sea. The rooms are spotless and new-fashioned, with a microwave, central heating and an iron. The staff are extremely friendly and excellent and ready to help if you need anything.

Great view and lovely breakfast. , the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a modern touch. It was located in an area with stunning scenery and close to a local pub with good food. We enjoyed our Easter getaway in this tranquil spot.

The room we had lacked a view and the photos provided were misleading. We were disappointed to not have a sea view as we had expected from the pictures.
